Egomaniac: Fuck Armageddon, This is Hell

The sad thing is that this is very true. Whenever I hear some cheesy terrible song, it will stick with me for a long time. I know the words to most of Britney's songs, even though I've never sat through one just to listen to it. Exposure to them through movies and games is enough for me, it's like a virus that I can not shake.

I drew this one (surprise surprise) a while back, and this comic is actually all digital. Well, I laid it out on paper and then scanned it and inked and colored in Photoshop. I was pretty confident about making comics this way, until the comic I did after this one, which I'll post...eventually.

Not sure why I have such short hair in this one. My hair hasn't been that short in a while.

Egomaniac: Play the Game

Okay, this comic might only be funny if you are a wrestling fan. See, the "Hacksaw" we are talking about is indeed Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

Yeah, that's who Joe compared to Hitler. And yes, the character in the Batman shirt is indeed Joe Armstrong, who is one of my oldest friends, and is a really funny guy. He's also the same Joe that starred in Think Tank. Well, not so much "starred" as "Was made an ass of," but you get the gist. I say all this because I forgot to give Joe an introductory name word box, and by the time I realized that, (about ten seconds before I started this entry,) I figured it was too late to go back. So there it is. The guy in the Batman shirt is Joe.

Anyhow. Hacksaw's catchphrase, if you could call it that, was to always yell "HOOOOOOOOO!" And his big move was athe three point stance into the tackle. So that's where that all came from. Here's a good video of Hacksaw in action, better to watch just because of Heenan's commentary.

Oh, by the way, I used this comic to make a tutorial out of, so in the next day or two keep your eyes open for that.

Egomaniac: Capital Punishment

Say it out loud, you'll get it!

This is why you can't be friends with me. I think things like this are funny. And that means I make stupid punny jokes like this all the time.

Continuity-wise, this is actually the third comic I finished, way back when I started this whole Egomaniac thing. I'm not sure why it took me this long to post.

If I remember correctly, I inked this one with a brush pen, which is why the lines are kinda shakey. The one I drew after this was this one, which was in a regular pen (much like the rest of all the comics after that.)

So, yeah. There you go. A thrilling story, I know!

Failed Project Wednesday: Truer Words Were Never Spoken 5

And so ends Truer Words Were Never Spoken!

It took Fenris 5 comics to do a Star Wars comic, and it only took Steve three. What the hell is with these guys?

This comic came a long while after the fourth one did, as it was one of the times Fenris just kinda disappeared from the internet. And since A) We've never met, and B) He lives in Canada, I was never able to talk to him to see what was up in the times he wasn't around. So this was the last comic we ever produced together up until now, and it might just stay that way. Who knows!

Back to Egomaniac next week. I hope you had fun going through these comics that just never quite made it.
